About Willow Park Fire/Rescue

The Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department was established in 1971. The department was established by a group of volunteers who were dedicated to protecting the citizens of Willow Park from the threat of fires. The Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department has evolved in many ways over the past 39 years. Currently it is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization that relies on a major annual donation from the City of Willow Park and it's citizens.

Willow Park Fire/Rescue Depaartment is continuing to serve the citizens of Willow Park 24 hours a day, seven days a week by providing fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire prevention, vehicle extrications, hazardous material response, and emergency management. The Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department has a full time staff, but still has a dedicated group of volunteers who serve the citizens of Willow Park.

The department's call volume has increased significantly during the last ten years while the growth of eastern Parker County has exploded. A chart of the ten year historical call volume of the Willow Park Fire/Rescue Department is shown below.
