Join The Department

Volunteer firefighting is a very rewarding and valuable way to serve your community. It takes dedication and many hours of training to become a firefighter. Click Here to see the latest training schedule. If you're willing to put in the time and effort, Willow Park would like you to come visit the fire station and fill out an application.

Requirements for Volunteers
Volunteers have to live in the fire district and be 18 with no other qualifications nescessary. Training will be provided, must attended montlhy trainings and must be able to obtain class B license. After completion of probationary period, you will recieve water compenstation. The department provices all equipment. All volunteers report to the Volunteer/Reserve Lieutenant.

Requirements for Reserves
Reserve firefighters must live within the DFW metroplex, hold a valid EMT-B status with TDH, volunteer 24 hours a month at the station and attend trainings every month, and must be able to obtain class B license. Training and equipment will be provided. You will work directly with volunteer and paid personnel. All reserve staff report to the Volunteer/Reserve Lieuntenant.
